The Journey // an international awarded documentary


Documentary is something that totally characterizes my work when it comes to social events like weddings or christenings but on my way to Serifos island , in late September , I never could have thought that this trip would have turned in a three day journey into cycladean tradition! I tried to squeeze my experience in this short teaser clip. Just a tiny glimpse in a world full of beauty , warm open people with bright eyes. 

This documentary intitled "the Journey" recieved the prestigious Award of Excellence in the Accolade interational film awards held in California , USA.
 




Το ντοκυμαντέρ είναι κάτι που με εκφράζει απόλυτα όταν προσεγγίσω κοινωνικά γεγονότα όπως ο γάμος ή η βάπτιση , όμως όταν ξεκίνησα γιαυτό το ταξίδι ποτέ δεν φαντάστηκα πως θα εξελίσσονταν σε ένα τριήμερο οδοιπορικό στις παραδόσεις της Σερίφου. Προσπάθησα να στριμώξω την εμπειρία που είχα για τρεις ημέρες σε αυτό το μικρό κλιπάκι , μια μικρη ματιά σε ένα κόσμο γεμάτο ομορφιά , με ανθρώπους φιλόξενους , ανοιχτούς με καθαρή ματιά. 

To ομόνυμο ντοκιμαντέρ με τίτλο "the Journey" τιμήθηκε με το βραβείο Award of Excellence στα διεθνή βραβεία Accolade , στην Καλιφόρνια των ΗΠΑ.
